Every Wednesday in our house is NO TV night. We started this because our kids (and the adults) were too dependent on the TV. We do crafts and activities. Sometimes the activity is as simple as going to the playground. Other times we go crazy and build catapults.

A new activity for this year is BASEBALL CARD ART (which is in addition to our other activities). Each week we have a theme and we each create a piece of art on a baseball card size piece of paper. This blog is to document all of the art week by week in order to save it and share it.

Week 44: Pictures as coloring pages (September 19, 2012)

I found a website where you could turn a photo into a coloring page.  So I did that then turned them into baseball cards.  I printed 16 of them and let everyone choose a picture.

Week 41: Crayons and watercolors (August 29, 2012)

It didn't work like it was supposed to but first you color a picture with a white crayon then watercolor over it to reveal the design.

Week 40: Giraffes (August 8, 2012)

We are back!  We took a break for T-Ball but now we are back to our routine.

I recently found some stamps in my craft supplies so I made a few baseball cards that are more like coloring pages.  This time we all had giraffes.

Week 39: Make your own ice cream (July 19, 2012)

I cut out a bunch of options for ice cream cones, dishes, and flavors.  Then everyone made their own ice cream.   We also had stickers and stamps for added "flavor"
